The popularity of Virgil Abloh’s Off White “Active” line has since escalated not long after it’s release late last year. It’s top tier status as an emerging activewear line propelled with its partnership with the Swoosh and we can’t help but to call it “the gift that keeps on giving”. πŸ‘πŸ‘

Continuing it’s collaboration with Nike, Off-White Active’s latest collection titled “Athlete in Progress” has proven to be hotly in demand as seen on athlete Caster Semenya to the likes of artist Jorja Smith. πŸ’£

Virgil continues to draw inspiration from Track and Field, with Olympic champion and activist Caster Semenya fronting the campaign. Alongside the launch of the Zoom Kiger 5’s, Nike and Off-White's capsule includes a crop top and leggings set in blue/powder blue and black/grey colour scheme. 😻The set features a single lace at the waistline and the words “Keep Back” when you look back at it.

Gurls Talk πŸ‘―, founded by Activist and Model Adwoa Aboah organised an IRL link up with her online community for young women to discuss issues, life experiences and share advice on topics such as finances.

πŸ“ Hosted in Nike Lab 1984 LDN, the digital platform organised a number of events from talks on personal branding to fitness classes. Gurls Talk’s collaboration with Nike is so important because at a time where women’s sport is being celebrated and their stories are being heard, it brings together a community of young girls to help them recognise that they too can reach their potential and achieve their goals in life.

To further celebrate this community, Nike teamed up with Gurls Talk to create a limited edition Football Jersey 🎽. The black shirt features Adwoa’s initials ‘AA’ emblazoned on the chest beneath both the Nike and Gurls Talk logo. On the back, her lucky number ‘3’ can be boldly seen.

What do we get when the Nike + Gurls Talk worlds collide? Fire. πŸ”₯
